Process Mining is the synthesis of process and data science. The basic idea is to identify, improve and monitor real processes in a data-driven way. Unlike traditional methods, processes are not modelled using subjective ideas of workflows but are extracted objectively and realistically from the data traces of today’s IT systems. For example, a sales process can be reconstructed in detail, starting from the receipt of the order up to the payment of the invoice made by the customer. This reconstruction covers all the deviations and variations that occur in real-world scenarios daily, allowing for optimisation based on this detailed analysis.

Our approach:
With direct access to the existing data infrastructure, we prepare the process-relevant data for analysis using state-of-the-art Process Mining tools. We then conduct process analysis, evaluate performance and identify business-critical deficiencies.
